Menestrello – Bio
MENESTRELLO chitarrista one-man-band nasce nel 1968 inizia la sua avventura live nel 2002 con un concerto in veste one-man-band, nel 2003 diventa drum-programmer e chitarra solista dei TWILIGHT, gruppo DARK, dopo una breve ma intensa attività live con 20 concerti nel giro di 1 anno, non pochi per un gruppo che propone brani originali, l’avventura TWILIGHT finisce ad aprile 2004 e Menestrello dopo alcune prove con gruppi locali decide di intraprendere una nuova avventura in versione One-man-band e gira in vari locali del piemonte come il MOBY DICK (pogliola) IL MALTESE ( Cassinasco) , i DOCKS (Torino) e vari altri, presentando una serie di brani originali in versione interamente strumentale, spaziando in vari generi, principalmente HARD ROCK, ma anche BLUES e PROGRESSIVE senza dimenticare l’amore per le BALLAD ed il BLUES, con qualche cover qua e là tra King Crimson e Santana. Da notare l’ottimo risultato ottenuto al concorso “Spazio alla musica” al MALTESE di Cassinasco dove ottiene l’accesso alle semifinali esibendosi in pubblico con la sola chitarra e la ormai abituale partecipazione allo Spirit Of Woodstock in Mirapuri (dove si esibisce regolarmente ogni anno fin dal 2003) presentandosi sul palco con l’aiuto di un piccolo sequencer YAMAHA dove vengono arrangiati la maggior parte dei brani; fonti d’ispirazione per i suoi brani sono chitarristi come Ritchie Blackmore, Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, Toni Iommi, Carlos Santana ed il genio della chitarra strumentale Jeff Beck Da maggio 2009 diventa chitarrista dei Vanilla, gruppo dove vengono riproposti vari classici degli anni ’70, da Deep Purple a Uriah Heep, Hendrix, Santana, Battisti, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Eagles e altri del periodo più qualche brano originale, su tutti il Blues dedicato a una birra delle più abituali per il menestrello. http://www.youtube.com/menestrello68 A HARD ROCK WITH A BLUES FLAVOUR

Beginning to play the guitar to advanced age, approximately 27 years. a P2o late but better than never! Between December 2002 and you open them 2004 I have played in a group “dark/new-wave” where only ours songs were executed, ended that experience I have made some tests with local groups and the intention to go in turn for premises to play cover of famous songs, idea soon abandoned for lack of interest from part mine in order to play the cover, and having in the drawer already for a long time various more or less ready songs, I launch to me in the accompanied solista adventure from sequencer a Yamaha (QY100. .lo same with which I compose.) and armed with a remarkable dose of courage I go in turn for the Piemonte introducing my unknown songs in succeeding version “one-man-band” riscuotendo a discreet one of public. From 2000 to today I’ve recorded 4 discs in all and am completing the recordings for 5° the album totally autoprodotto and recorded in house thanks to a simplest multitrace. the first disc (improponibile to the public for the insufficient level of the chitarrista to the first crews and which had to a accident to the left arm with light but permanent lesions that now they prevent to me to exercise as I would have to me, beyond for the type of music recorded in that occasion) title “the new room” follows in the 2003 only recording of the Twilight from alive with a “Live in 16/8/2003 Mirapuri” the continuation to wheel from my staff “Psychedelic garden” disc with which first draft the first ideas of rock progressive and psychedelia, without to forget “ballad” and “blues”. Of that album it makes part also one of the little songs (sung) from recorded me, “Blues of the super Baladin” in homage to by now the famous beer of the premises of Piozzo (the Baladin). In the 2004 registry my third disc “Travel to the edge of the dark” that it then marks the beginning of the carried out one towards the hard-rock leaving only some small echo to the “progressiveones” until me much beloved, carried out that é still more emphasized in the last fresh disc of dated production 2007 from the title it “Crimmeson Project”. Sources of inspiration for me are chitarristi as Ritchie Blackmore, JimmyPage, David Gilmour, Tony Iommi, Carlos Santana and the genius of the instrumental guitar Jeff Beck……………
