The large masses, the common people or just the average consumer … is a comfort wherein people like to hide. What is for many just a daily routine or what almost everyone is faced with while looking in the mirror. This for Sick of Society, since the day of foundation, has been a never-ending source of inspiration and drive.
Never bent by social conventions and freed from the straight jacket of narrow-minded behavior and thought patterns a hearable and tactile monument for free spirits was created: Simple, stirring and straight – “Niemals Wie Der Rest” [translation: Never Like The Rest]!
After almost 20 years and numerous releases the band breaks new grounds with the album called “Niemals Wie Der Rest,” which has led to 16 unpolished PunkRock pearls which are slightly impured by Metal and Hardcore elements. On its way there, Sick of Society focused, for the first time ever, on mainly German lyrics in order to manifest clear and plain what the band stands for in 2012: Three guys who are consistent, uncompromising and have unlimited dedication. They hold the mirror to society’s two-faced reflection with short, fast and dirty PunkRock music. In 2012 Sick of Society is harder and more truthful than ever before and without fail “Niemals Wie Der Rest!”

Band Members: Oliver (Drums, B-Vocals) • Fizzi (Vocals, Guitar) • Steini (Bass, Vocals)
